Lizzie Watson was born in Kent, UK in 1985. She works predominantly in the medium of painting. Her crowd scenes and portraits consider the ways in which individuals are formed in relation to their environments.

Lizzie achieved a High Distinction in painting at The Sydney College of the Arts, Australia in alongside a BA in Art History at the University of East Anglia. For fours years Lizzie worked as an exhibition curator in London, at the Serpentine Gallery and after at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, before returning to her practice full-time in 2014. She is currently undertaking a Masters in Fine Art at the University of the West of England.

As well as undertaking private commissions she has exhibited in shows in London including the Dulwich Picture Gallery Open Exhibition and at Jeannie Avent Gallery, as well as in Norfolk at The Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts. Lizzie lives and works between London and Bristol.
